Fleet Imports Commercial, LLC. is owned and operated by two partners, George Armbruster and Duncan "Duke" Ingraham. Duke is the majority owner, a 1994 graduate of the United States Naval Academy and a disabled veteran. George is a 1989 graduate of the Virginia Military Institute and together they have been in the stone import and distribution industry for the past five years.
Fleet Imports, LLC. currently operates three warehouses strategically located throughout Virginia and North Carolina. Our Corporate Headquarters is located in Portsmouth, Virginia, only 20 minutes from port. Throughout the past five years Fleet Imports has imported an average of 45 containers per month from Brazil, India, Spain, Italy, and China. With contracted employees inspecting our product in India and Brazil, we bring in only the finest Natural Stone in our industry. Both Duke and George travel extensively throughout the year negotiating prices with both suppliers and manufacturing facilities ensuring we get both the best quality and pricing available.
In January, 2008, Duke and George decided to establish Fleet Imports Commercial, LLC after being contacted by several government contractors looking for natural stone suppliers for domestic and international projects. After careful investigation and consideration they have come to the conclusion this would be a natural extension to their current business.
